Loudoun County Family Services is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and established professional candidate to lead the Child Protective Services (CPS) Investigations and Family Assessments (I&A) Evening Shift Team.
Highlights of the role:
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology (master’s degree preferred), or a related field; four (4) years of experience to include one (1) year of supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:Pass pre-employment background checks including criminal, credit, DMV, and CPS/APS checks. Valid driver’s license (driving records may be reviewed annually for continued qualification). Hold or obtain licensure in Social Work, i.e., LCSW or LSW. Hold or obtain additional certifications preferred by the Department. Bilingual skills in Spanish and English preferred. Complete required County e-learning and MOAT training requirements as directed by department. Complete required supervisory training.
This team primarily works scheduled times during the evenings with occasional overnight, weekends, and designated holidays. Core work hours are Monday-Friday, 12:30pm to 9:00 p.m., including rotating on-call shifts to respond to emergency family situations, as required.
