** Laborer**

Louisville, KY 40245

**Purpose:**

* The ***Laborer*** position is responsible for safely performing a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor as assigned.

**Job Responsibilities:**

* Perform duties as assigned.

* Work closely with Foreman and team members to ensure construction projects are completed to specifications and in a timely manner.

* Carry out construction projects, which may require the operation of a variety of hand and power tools.

* Maintain a clean job site, pick up all tools and equipment, and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

* Unload and load construction materials.

* Must be flexible and willing to learn and use new skills quickly.

**Education & Experience:**

* Previous experience in construction work or equivalent experience preferred.

* Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies preferred.

* Willing to work long hours if necessary.

**Skills and Specifications:**

* Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.

* Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience working effectively in a team environment.
