Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Love, Quin Boutique in downtown Charleston. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, building lasting relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall success of the boutique.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
-Greet and engage customers in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a welcoming shopping environment.
-Assist customers in finding and selecting merchandise that suits their individual style and preferences.
-Provide knowledgeable product information, answer inquiries, and offer styling suggestions to enhance the shopping experience.
Sales and Goal Achievement:
-Actively promote and sell boutique merchandise to meet or exceed sales targets.
-Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products, enhancing customer purchases.
-Maintain a strong understanding of current fashion trends and the boutique's offerings to make personalized product recommendations.
Client Relationship Management:
-Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers, building a loyal and repeat client base.
-Maintain a client database, recording preferences and purchase history to provide tailored shopping experiences.
-Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and to inform them of upcoming promotions and events.
Visual Merchandising:
-Assist in maintaining the visual presentation of the shop by arranging displays, restocking merchandise, and ensuring a neat and organized store environment.
-Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create eye-catching and cohesive displays that highlight the shop's collections.
Operational Support:
-Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving, tagging, and organizing new merchandise shipments.
-Contribute to opening and closing procedures, ensuring security measures are followed.
Team Collaboration:
-Work collaboratively with fellow Sales Associates and boutique staff to achieve collective goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
-Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
