We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently processing transactions at the cash register. This is a vital position within our organization, as you will be the face of our company and the first point of contact for our customers.

Duties:
- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash transactions and provide accurate change to customers
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and making recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, safety, and security

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Proficient in time management to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing transactions and maintaining inventory levels
