QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years in a healthcare setting
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (word, excel power point, outlook) including working knowledge of electronic medical records systems in general
- Knowledge and ability to use online services for research
- Knowledge of applicable standards of health care risk management, patient safety and accreditation compliance
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local health and safety laws and rules
- Knowledge of patient care including patient rights, patient grievances and the principles of disclosure
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of the role of patients and families in improving patient safety and reducing risks
- LPN or RN license
- Risk Management/Quality Management processes experience
