At School of Rock, integrity and community are at the heart of everything we do. The Job : As a Music Department Coordinator , you'll be part of a collaborative job sharing team setting, with each coordinator responsible for driving Sales, Service, and / or Music Education.
To excel in this role, you must embody the following qualities : Customer-Centric : Possessing customer service and / or sales experience with a commitment to delivering exceptional service in every interaction.
Communicative : Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills. Reliable and Flexible : Exhibiting reliability, dependability, flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability.
Organized : Having an eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Google business tools. Tech-Savvy : Comfortable multitasking with various processes and programs to deliver efficient outcomes.
Musically Inclined : A musician capable of teaching one or more instruments; at School of Rock Delco, everyone is a teacher (teaching constitutes 50% of your role).
Availability : Able to work 15-20 hours a week or more, including nights and / or weekends. Each Team member will contribute to one of the following below based on experience and passion towards helping to evolve the program.
Responsibilities : Delivering exceptional customer service; call on clients and prospects to generate interest in the school and effectively schedule trials and lessons to drive enrollment.
Cross train on all music programs and private lessons to effectively run a lesson or group with students. Community Outreach - identifying opportunities for partnerships, venues, and community leaders to schedule meetings, or plan events at local events (tents, performances, schools, festivals, and other art community partners) Band Manager - Identify opportunities for our students to play out.
Communication with families, venues, and instructors. Set up and tear down equipment to perform on stages and performances.
Creating social media content and graphics. Training and adoption of SOR systems, processes, and procedures across our families and instructor communities Localized Recruitment - social media, local school outreach, and grassroots campaigns Adhere to the SOR Code of Conduct, safety policies, including the Monitoring and Supervision policy.
Skill Requirements : Experience teaching and / or performing music professionally High detail orientation, multi-tasker Has a passion for and / or experience working with children Excellent ability to deal well with a wide range of customers Very strong customer relations skills on the phone and in person.
Enthusiastic, flexible, patient, and positive demeanor Welcoming, outgoing demeanor essential Good team player who collaborates well Proficient in Google business tools.
