Responsibilities:
Travel Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and any necessary documentation.
- Ensure all travel bookings align with company policies and budgets.
- Handle last-minute changes or cancellations, and manage any travel disruptions effectively.
- Establish and maintain relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other travel vendors to negotiate favorable rates and terms.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with travel regulations, visa requirements, and health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure employees are aware of and adhere to company travel policies and procedures.
- Travel Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related inquiries and support for employees.
- Offer guidance and assistance with travel planning, visa applications, and travel insurance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of travel itineraries, expenses, and approvals.
- Generate reports on travel metrics, including cost savings, travel patterns, and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in travel coordination or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and online travel tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and travel management software.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Certification in Travel and Tourism Management.
- Experience working in a corporate travel environment.
