Your Impact at Lowe Engineers:

Immediate position available for an experienced SUE Technician with Lowe Engineers, LLC. Successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and enjoy being part of a team in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys challenging work working in a Team environment.

Responsibilities:

· Work with a team of talented individuals to help tackle a wide variety of projects.

· Complete detailed and accurate daily reports and field sketches to coordinate with internal and external survey crews.

· Ability to read and interpret utility records, as-built and survey drawings and highway design plans.

· Professionally represent Lowe Engineers when communicating and/or working with client, sub-contractors, and third parties during field activities and meetings

· Designate existing utilities using electromagnetic and geophysical technologies.

· Perform operator level maintenance on assigned company tools and equipment as required.

· Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment

· Complete monthly equipment inventory

· Complete other tasks as assigned

What You Bring to Lowe Engineers:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in using electromagnetic and geophysical designating technologies.

· Minimum 1 year of experience using air assisted vacuum excavation equipment to expose utilities.

· Survey experience is a plus

· GDOT Plans Development Process knowledge and experience is a plus but not required.

· Ability to quickly grasp new technologies.

· Basic computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Earth Pro and ability to learn and understand new software.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to read and interpret utility company prints and design plans.

· Ability to obtain client required identity verification such as TWIC.

· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction.

· Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time by company vehicle or commercial airline and work overtime as needed.

· Ability to walk long distances of several miles daily.

· Ability to work outdoors in all climates.

· Ability to lift heavy equipment up to 80 lbs.

· Good driving skills and a clean driving record is a must.

· Must prioritize the safety of yourself and others.
