Out Based Client Assessor Orangeburg and Calhoun County Areas

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Client Assessor in our Aging, Disabilities, Transportation Human Services Division.

Primary duties will be to conduct in home client interviews / assessments for services, eligibility and needs determination for home delivered and congregate site nutrition / meals, home care, and transportation services as set forth by the Older American Act.

Candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.

Daily travel to homes and communities in the Orangeburg and Calhoun counties required. Applicants residing in Orangeburg County, Calhoun County or surrounding area preferred.

Must pass a background check. Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science such as Sociology or Psychology preferred. For more information visit our website LSCOG.
