Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented professional with a desire to work for a fast-paced organization.

Position Description

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for efficient and accurate full-cycle accounts payable support, as well as accurate financial operations.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Manages accounts payable processes, including invoice posting and analysis, vendor statements reconciliations, and payment disbursements processing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors
• Maintains accurate and complete A/P records and control reports.
• Post payment to applicable accounts with proficient accuracy
• Manage the full cycle of the accounts payable process, including coding, posting, and making payments to vendors for multiple entities.
• Interface with other departments to ensure quick turn-around time for invoice approval.
• Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or Department Heads.

Required Education & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in accounting and payables strongly preferred.
• A general understanding of accounting practices and principles is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Interact well with diverse levels of employees; collaborative, energized by the open exchange of ideas.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work on multiple tasks
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and has strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-Time – Starting Range $22-24 per hour
