Duties and Responsibilities | The Assistant Director, Specialty MS Degree Programs is responsible for overseeing the successful operation of the Quinlan School's specialty MS degree programs. This person will build and be a key part of vibrant communities centered around education of working professionals in areas such as analytics, finance, human resource management, marketing, and supply chain. This includes developing and implementing plans with faculty Graduate Program Directors, managing student enrollment and retention, and coordinating with faculty and staff across the school and university to ensure the success of students and programs. The Assistant Director provides vital support to the specialty MS graduate programs, partnering to engage in programmatic efforts to develop and improve student outcomes. The position will assist in admission and yield events and operations, scheduling courses, new student onboarding and orientation, co-curricular programming, and be a front-line for addressing student questions, resolving registration, scholarship, enrollment, degree completion and other first-line advising issues. In addition, the assitant director conducts research and provides other assistance to improve, market, and promote the programs. Responsibilities may also include advising dual-degree students such as those completing the MBA and a specialty master's program. Responsibilities include:
