| Duties and Responsibilities | The Assistant Coach will assist the head coach with the organization, development, and implementation of a competitive NCAA Division I Track & Field program in compliance with NCAA and A10 Conference rules and regulations. This position will have coaching and recruiting responsibilities with mid-distance and distance. - Assists in practice planning, meet preparation, and athletic conditioning. - Assists in recruiting, daily practice and travel arrangements for team competition. - Assists with organizing team/alumni fundraising, mailings, event, public relations and other assignments. - Performs related duties as required. |
| Minimum Education and/or Work Experience | Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred. Two years of collegiate coaching experience in designated sport required. Understanding of and compliance with NCAA rules and regulations and commitment to the mission of Jesuit higher education. |
| Qualifications | - Bachelor's degree and one to three years coaching Cross Country/Track & Field at the college level. - Strong organizational and communication skills are required. - Must have working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations |
