LPL Financial is Hiring a Senior Application Developer Near Fort Mill, SC
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, tune and implement n-tiered applications while collaborating with Development, Enterprise Architecture and Product teams.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
- Work collaboratively with QA, DevOps teams to adopt CI/CD tool chain and develop automation.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support.
- Develop end to end design for the platform, solution delivery and execution and code quality.
- Assess opportunities for platform/application and process improvements.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
- Application resiliency, scalability and performance design
Requirements:
- Developer with minimum 5 years of extensive design and implementation of complex systems
- Extensive web/service development experience with the following technologies: Angular 8, .Net, C#, SQL server, HMTL, CSS
- Experience working with source control tools like TFS, GIT, TeamCity, Octopus etc.
- Experience designing applications, developing APIs and integrating with vendor APIs
- Hands on knowledge with AWS and cloud development work
- Excellent understanding of system integration. Experience implementing platforms with legacy and modern technical tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong skills in querying languages like SQL and relational databases is required.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Data Ingestion Patterns and Practices
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Scrum/Kanban
- Experience guiding, coaching, and developing with other engineers
