LSE Architects is a Minneapolis based architecture, interior design and planning firm. Founded in 2011, LSE serves local and national clients in the public and private sector markets. Our project types include K-12 schools, post-secondary colleges and universities, libraries, community centers, multi-family housing, casinos, hotels, restaurants, entertainment facilities and recreation centers. We have 55 dedicated professionals working from our North Minneapolis office located in the Harrison neighborhood. In 2023 LSE received the AIA Minnesota Firm Award as well as Star Tribune Top Workplaces recognition.

We are looking for a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and attention to detail to join our administrative team. This role provides administrative support across all LSE departments, with a particular focus on assisting with documentation for contract administration (projects currently under construction).

Job Responsibilities

• Front Desk Reception: Greet visitors, answer phones, route deliveries and process outgoing mail.

• Process project documentation/submittals for projects in construction. This includes extensive and detailed data entry, filing and tracking of submissions, deadlines, and document flow.

• Generate business letters, word and excel templates, transmittals and meeting notes.

• Book and coordinate business travel arrangements and assist with occasional event planning.

• Order office supplies and catering, tracking receipts for accountant.

• Coordinate/set up schedules and meetings for project leaders and team members.

• Assist with maintaining the company master contact database and creating project directory reports.

• Light housekeeping / common area maintenance duties – kitchen, conference rooms, etc.

• Support Executives, Project Managers, and administrative staff with other day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-3 years administrative assistant or similar office experience

• Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills

• MS Office software experience required. Intermediate to advanced skills in Word and Excel preferred.

• Experience in PDF editing, basic graphic design skills, contact management database platforms, or project management software are a plus. (Examples: Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Access or Salesforce/SQL, Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Procore)

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Work will be performed within LSE Offices during our normal business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. LSE will provide a computer and workstation. This is primarily an in-person role with an option for occasional remote workdays. This position is the “opener,” start time is 8:00 am.

Salary Range

• $22.00-26.00 per hour depending on qualifications. Position is classified as hourly and non-exempt.
