LTC Language Solutions is Hiring a Government Proposal & Bid Writer Near Denver, CO

LTC Language Solutions is looking for an ambitious and energetic Government Proposal Writer who will work alongside the sales team with the aim of securing new or recurring government business opportunities.

This position is responsible for gathering information from active RFPs, developing proposal strategies, overseeing timelines, and coordinating all government proposal-related activities including but not limited to documenting knowledgebase, and producing drafts and final response documentation for RFP submission.

This role will require someone to work closely with the Government & Compliance Team as well as the Leadership team to execute submissions and will own all phases of the government proposal process. This role requires an individual to have a strategic mindset and strong attention to detail.

Here is what you get to do: Proposal Writing & Strategy

  1. Responsible for proposal development, strategy, and delivery.
  2. Be proactive in selling our services
  3. Search daily for opportunities through known sites.
  4. Writes proposals, especially those specific to government contracts.
  5. Review and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and related documents.
  6. Manage company GSA outreach
  7. Determine proposal requirements and coordinate with other departments for input.
  8. Respond to all approved opportunities including creating timelines and assigning duties to team members writing proposals on, evaluating what is being requested, gathering information, and writing the proposal.
  9. Be a point-of-contact to contracting officers to schedule meetings to determine needs
  10. Monitor the process for each opportunity and track progress to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  11. Ensure the proposal and all writing is compliant with RFP instructions and criteria.
  12. Check ongoing progress of submitted proposals.
  13. Maintain templates to support in writing of proposals.
  14. Register LTC on government department websites and complete vendor registrations for businesses as needed by the sales department.
  15. Proactively search for expiring contracts and maintain a forward-thinking calendar for future planning.
  16. Understand company service offerings, experience, and capabilities.
  17. Assist in the activation of awarded government contracts.
  18. Conduct research projects related to government contracting.
  19. With support, analyze unique contract requirements, special provisions, and terms & conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and procedures.
  20. Communicate with all departments to ensure knowledge of key contract requirements.
  21. Keep up to date on current government contract compliance issues, best practices, and emerging requirements.
  22. Assist department leaders with monthly and quarterly metrics related to contracts, recruiting, onboarding, and other information related to contracts and subcontractors.
  23. Other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 2 years’ experience preparing written proposals.
  • Proficient and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Familiarity with FAR and DFAR.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government contracting processes, including general knowledge of Federal Government contract types (IDIQ, FFP, T&M, CPFF).
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet all deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Knowledge of GSA Schedule Contracts is a plus.
