Role Overview: As a Solution Architect with expertise in Salesforce Education Cloud, you will
be a pivotal figure in designing scalable, high-impact solutions for educational institutions. Your
role will encompass both project delivery and pre-sales/sales support, ensuring that our solutions
meet the unique needs of our clients and prospects. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver transformative outcomes that improve the educational experience for
learners and administrators alike.
Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical requirements gathering sessions and provide

technical guidance throughout the development and implementation of Salesforce
applications.

• Solution Design: Oversee the creation and maintenance of application and system

documentation, including ERDs, system landscapes, and data flow diagrams.

• Data Management: Work with large data volumes (LDV) and recommend strategies for

handling LDV on and off the Salesforce platform.

• Environment Management: Guide environment management plans and release

strategies, ensuring robust development environments, change controls, and deployment
plans.

• Integration & Efficiency: Identify synergies between various Salesforce product

offerings and provide guidance on best practices and efficiencies.

• Sales Support: Collaborate with Account Executives in a Sales Engineering capacity to

scope project proposals, estimate effort, and present solutions to prospects.

• Data Migration: Oversee or review large data migrations, ensuring data integrity and

seamless transitions.

• Technical Assistance: Provide ongoing technical assistance to colleagues and serve as

the lead technical resource on implementation projects.

• Architecture Oversight: Oversee project architecture and technical solutions, including

automation, integration, and release management.

• Client Engagement: Gather and assess client technical requirements, creating custom

applications and integrating Salesforce with other systems.

• Expert Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of Force.com application

development, Salesforce integration, and extension.

• Vendor Evaluation: Evaluate SaaS vendors' operational practices, security, and system

architectures.

• Customer Satisfaction: Show a commitment to customer satisfaction and strive to

exceed client expectations.
Qualifications

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions, with a

strong preference for experience in the education sector.

• Proficiency in Salesforce Sales, Service, and Education Clouds.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality

results.

• Strong technical skills and a deep understanding of Force.com application development,

Salesforce integration, and extension.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively

with cross-functional teams.
