Job Title: AWS Cloud
Location: Freeport TX
Database Services Cloud Data Solutions Architects responsibilities include
Developing database solutions to store and retrieve the group information
Evaluating and recommending database technologies platformstools and services for cloud environments
Collaborating with database administratorsdevelopers analysts and other teams to ensure database performance security availabilityand scalability
Document essential IT procedurespolicies standards reference architecture and best practices for database solutions
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in a project where a database service is required
A bachelors degree in computer scienceinformation technology or a related field
Proven experience as a database architect or a similar role
Proficiency in cloud solution architecture specialized for Data platforms in AWS cloud environment
Proficiency in databases such as Redshift Databricks HDFSAWS EMR etc
Proficiency in database languages such as SQL Spark Map Reduceetc
Knowledge of database designarchitecture administration and development principles and practices for on premises and cloud environments
Familiarity with database securitybackup recovery migrationintegration and optimization methods and tools
Excellent analytical communication leadershipand problem solving skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to follow procedures guides reference architecture and others and recommend or propose amendments when is required
