3 years of experience in server system architecture, network requirements, software/firmware application engineering, and hardware testing/validation, preferably in storage systems.
Proficiency in storage protocols and technologies such as SAS, SATA, NVMe, RAID, and SAN/NAS.
Experience with lab equipment and tools for hardware testing, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex hardware issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Knowledge of PowerShell scripting languages for test automation is a plus.
Conduct hardware testing and validation of storage components and systems in a lab environment.
Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure quality and reliability of storage products.
Perform functional, performance, and compatibility testing of storage hardware, including arrays, drives, controllers, and interfaces.
Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to identify and address design flaws and improve product performance.
Document test results, findings, and procedures, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in storage technologies to enhance testing methodologies and processes.
Familiarity with core routing, switching functions, and LAN technologies.
Rack and stack servers and kit to cabinets.
Physical installation and/or removal of equipment within the Data Center or Intermediary Data Facilities.
Experience in Technical operations related to Server System architecture, including server functionality, network requirements and management, mechanical and electrical specification application, and software & firmware application in engineering labs or datacenter environments and/or data center operations.
Hands-on knowledge of server hardware and configuration, including HDD, SSD, CPU, and RAID adapters.
