Our company is seeking a Registered Dietitian for long term care nursing facility in Washington, PA area. 

Registered Dietitian Summary of Job Duties:

·Assess and monitors the Resident’s nutritional status, provide recommendations to medical staff, and develop adequate care plans.

·Evaluate the special needs of Residents regarding nutrition support, skin breakdown, and significant weight loss.

·Partner with the interdisciplinary team to review and adjust resident’s care plans.

·Work closely with Speech Pathologists to ensure appropriate mechanically altered diets are provided for residents with dysphagia.

·Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Registered Dietitian Qualification:

·One year of experience as a Registered Dietitian in a Long-Term Care setting preferred.

·Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Nutrition or Dietetics as well as the completion of the accredited Dietetic Internship program.

• General clinical knowledge, knowledge of nutritional supplements and knowledge of therapeutic diets.
• Sufficient understanding of Windows-based computer applications to learn and the ability to use electronic medical records.
