Lulu's Winegarden is Hiring a Lead Bartender/Supervisor Near Washington, DC
Lulu's is a communal, bottle-driven winegarden, with two lush garden patios, and reimagined dinner party fare with hints of the Southwest US.We are currently seeking a shift supervisor (closing bartender) to manage our house cocktails list. Our concentration is wine and therefore extensive wine knowledge is a plus. We are a high-volume bar; bartenders should be experienced in classic cocktails and have some beer knowledge. Candidates should be enthusiastic, kindhearted, and have a passion to provide guests with an excellent guest experience. Candidates should have:- At least 2 years of high-volume bartending experience.- Some supervisor or management experience is a plus.- Open availability to work evenings, weekdays, and weekends.- Experience with cocktail prep and cocktail creation is a plus.Primary duties include:- Approximately 30-40 hours of bartending per week.- Potential for bar prep/admin per week.- Being responsible for managing during their shifts, supervising staff while working the bar, making cocktails, and taking care of guests.- Assistaing in managing our creative house cocktails list.Candidates will receive:- Competitive hourly wage plus tips.- Food and beverage discounts.- Benefits including health and dental insurance and PTO.- Support for wine education through reimbursement of class costs.- Reimbursement of any licensing needed.
