Aerospace Parts Account Manager
My client is a leading provider in the aerospace industry, specializing in supplying, distributing, and brokering aerospace parts, hardware, chemicals, and metals.
They are seeking an experienced Account Manager with expertise in aerospace parts to join our team. This role involves sourcing (RFQs), quoting (markups), and resolving daily issues for our aerospace clients. We are looking for candidates with significant industry experience, particularly with aerospace MROs, and preferably with experience in foreign military sales (FMS). The ideal candidate will be skilled in both stock selling and brokering, ensuring competitive pricing from market vendors. Additionally, the ability to manage customer accounts and address concerns professionally is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Procure aerospace parts and materials to meet customer demands.
• Prepare and present quotes, including appropriate markups.
• Resolve issues related to new and existing orders promptly.
• Respond to daily RFQs from aerospace clients in a timely and accurate manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Identify and establish relationships with reliable vendors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Manage customer accounts and address concerns with professionalism.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in the aerospace industry, particularly with aerospace MROs.
• Preferably, experience in military sales, especially foreign military sales (FMS).
• Proficiency in tools such as ILS, PartsBase, and Haystack IHS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to apply percentage markups efficiently across a high volume of line items.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
