Summary/Objective: A flexo press operator has been trained and certified in the operation and set up a flexographic printing press. The Operator is responsible for printing each job to match the customer specification.

Essential Functions:

· Review the production schedule and set a throughput goal for the day.

· Provide quality labels, targeting zero defects.

· Complete routine maintenance and cleaning; meeting 5S goals.

· Meet or exceed the daily targeted expectations for your press cell.

· Other duties may be assigned by the leadership team for operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

A high school diploma.

· 3 years of flexographic experience.

· Must lead by example.

· Ability to work overtime (Nights & Saturday’s)

· Attention to detail and excellent mathematical skills.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Work Environment and Physical Demands: The team members are required to stand for their entire shift, bending squatting frequently is also required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and must have physical dexterity to use hand tools. Repetitive actions that entail use of fingers, hands, arms and legs such as bending, stooping and lifting. Regular requirements of safely lifting, pushing, pulling and average of 40 lbs. Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, inspect parts and identify color.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
