Job Title: UI/UX Designer

Employment Type: Contract/ Remote

Pay rate: $58-$68/hr, DOE

Responsibilities:

• Partner with UX Leads, Technical Product Management, Strategy, and Engineering to understand product requirements and turn them into stunning, high-quality, user experiences.
• Collaborate with other designers, user researchers, business analysts, and software engineers to enable the design process, inspire productive dialog, participate.
• Collaborate in concept development and design ideation for new product features.
• Produce design deliverables including user flows, sketches at various levels of fidelity, wireframes, journey maps, document results of design related meetings, and annotate and document design deliverables.
• Strong online, or distributable, portfolio/work samples required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, HCI, or a related field
• Strong visual design skills is a major skill requirement for this role. Being able to think outside of what is expected will go a long way.
• Proven skills in interaction design and user experience principles with a minimum 3 years of professional design experience, including user experience design of enterprise applications.
• Experience working closely with product and technology organizations.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to prioritize UX issues and review the results of user research.
• Possess an understanding of what is reasonably possible to achieve within the boundaries of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Fantastic visual design skills and a portfolio of work that shows it.
• Experience delivering high-quality designs while working in ambiguity.
• Extensive experience working with Figma is absolutely required.

Nice to have:

• Mobile experience
• Experience working with a developing design systems and reusable patterns and components
• Experience employing user experience practices in the of Agile/Lean methodologies
