Lunar Companies Inc is Hiring an Excavator Operator Near Noblesville, IN

Lunar Companies is looking for hard-working, dedicated people to join our team.
Excavator operators are responsible for transporting and operating an excavator in order to dig a hole, to specification.
  • Experience operating various equipment such as: dozer, mini-excavator, and skid steer
  • Ability to dig footings and understanding of the process
  • Understand the layout of a jobsite and perform minor layout tasks (Layout is completed when you arrive)
  • Able to interpret and read prints
  • Communicates work progress with the supervisor throughout the duration of the project.
  • Skilled in dirt management and have a basic understanding of general construction knowledge
  • Ability to operate a smartphone and tablet
  • Work in any type of weather to include; extreme heat and cold, rain, and snow
  • Perform daily tasks in wet and muddy condition
  • Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day to eliminate potential hazards
  • Performs materials handling and storage
  • Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials
  • Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the crew leader, safety director or HR manager
  • Wear appropriate clothing and PPE
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in extreme weather conditions (extreme heat and cold, rain, snow, and mud). The employee will frequently work near moving mechanical parts, and will frequently be exposed to wet or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
