- Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
- Conduct thorough case evaluations, legal research, and analysis to develop effective strategies for each client's case.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents necessary for litigation and settlement negotiations.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel on behalf of clients, striving to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on their cases, answer questions, and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are managed efficiently and deadlines are met.
- Stay informed about changes in personal injury law, precedents, and legal developments to maintain a high level of expertise in the field.
- Uphold ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and adversaries.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and barred in PA & NJ.
- Admission to the state bar(s) and in good standing.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience practicing personal injury law, with a successful track record of handling cases from inception to resolution.
- Strong litigation skills, including courtroom experience and a proven ability to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in legal research software, case management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
