Job DescriptionNON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform other duties as assigned.
Job QualificationEducation and Formal Training Required:
High School Graduate or the equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or enrolled in Nursing Program and have completed first medical clinicals. BLS required within first thirty days of hire.
Must have basic PC skills including: Word processing and follow menu driven training programs.
Ability to type 45 wpm with a 95% accuracy rate.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to interact with people effectively; ability to interpret a variety of documents and correspondence relating to patient medical records.
Experience RequiredPrior experience using a computer/keyboard to analyze data.
Preference will be given to applicants with medical terminology experience.
License RequiredNone.
