We are hiring a Full-Time Director for our Enrollment Department!

Basic Qualifications:

Education/Training/Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field.
  2. Current driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  3. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Skill(s):

  1. Ability to effectively present PACE philosophy and model to the community and to prospective participants
  2. Leadership, management and mentoring skills
  3. Strategic planning skills
  4. Relationship management
  5. Interpersonal and customer service skills
  6. Enthusiasm and sincerity
  7. Strong knowledge and experience of financing mechanisms such as Medicaid, Medicare, Prospective Payment Systems, and HMO Managed Care providing risk-based capitated systems.
  8. Good working knowledge of PACE philosophy and eligibility/denial criteria
  9. Computer proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications

Experience:

  1. Job specific industry experience with knowledge of current community health practices for the frail adult population and/or cognitively impaired seniors including the values offered with integrated care.
  2. Experience with multiple Medicaid managed care plan products.
  3. 5-10 years sales experience.
  4. 3-5 years supervisory experience.

Medical Clearance:

Employees must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before having direct participant contact.

General Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Development Director is responsible for the oversight of the Enrollment Operations and Team.

Essential Duties:

  1. Supports the mission and values of Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey, which is: Through the power of the Holy Spirit, and in response to God’s love as revealed in the Gospel, the mission of the Lutheran Social Ministries of New Jersey is to serve those in New Jersey who hurt, are in need, or have limited choices.
  2. Manages Enrollment Team. Hires, trains and develops the team on best practices under the P.A.C.E. model.
  3. Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
  4. Builds relationships with Referral Sources.
  5. Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
  6. Manages key relationships and works to build new ones.
  7. Expands the profile and reach of the company and its brands.
  8. Leads sales, marketing, customer-service, and client relationship management teams.
  9. Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation.
  10. Collaborates with IDT for sustainable, long-term growth.
  11. Tracks emerging markets and trends.
  12. Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions.
  13. Proposes and develops strategic partnerships.
  14. Helps to shape the company’s long-term objectives and determine plans for how to meet them.
  15. Researches and identifies new markets.
  16. Conducts webinars and presentations to raise the profile of Lutheran Senior LIFE.
  17. Shares responsibility with other team members in the implementation of Lutheran Senior Healthcare philosophy and achievement of program goals
  18. Keeps confidential, all PACE or prospective PACE participant information, and/or all other information pertaining to PACE or prospective PACE participants, issues or business practices.
  19. Practices Universal Precautions and follows appropriate Infection Control procedures.
  20. Promotes the Lutheran Senior Healthcare Program to potential participants and community agencies.
  21. Completes annual compliance and HIPAA training and exhibits behavior as set forth by the LSMNJ Code of Ethics and Business Integrity in the performance of duties.
  22. Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures regarding the Compliance Program of the organization and is timely in reporting any possible concerns.
  23. Follows all local, state and federal regulations as they pertain to the position.
  24. Adheres to the Organization’s Policies and Procedures covering Privacy and Security in Compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  25. Other duties as assigned by my supervisor, necessary for the efficient operation of the department/facility.
