Job Details Level Entry Job Location Fairfax, VA - Fairfax, VA Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Salary Range $66,000.00 - $66,402.00 Salary/year Travel Percentage None Job Shift Day Job Category Education Description Job Description As the Prevention for Sexual Abuse and Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will oversee the implementation and ongoing compliance with the Interim Final Rule (IFR) on Unaccompanied Children's (UC) Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment standards. You will be responsible for compliance with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and state licensing policies. This involves the management of formal internal quality assurance processes, up-to-date knowledge of federal and state policy and procedures, and communication with stakeholders on internal quality assurance efforts. This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state licensing regulatory requirements Essential Functions
Monitor the implementation of ORR UC policies and procedures, including compliance in case management, case documentation, and staff training requirements
Conduct regular internal reviews of case files, UC Portal files, personnel files, and foster family files, as well as any other standard focal areas associated with ORR P&P and state policy.
Analyze ORR and state policy and procedure updates and translate into practical operationalization for program staff
Monitor and report on the implementation of ORR and state policy and procedure updates, as well as any program recommendations, corrective action plans, and program development plans
Serve as primary point of contact with LIRS Program Officer and ORR's Prevention of Sexual Abuse Compliance Manager who is responsible for compliance with the IFR and related policies.
In cooperation with the Director of PQI, the Director-Foster Care Services, and HR, organize and conduct staff trainings and ensure that all LMS program related trainings are met and keep record of all staff training.
Ensure all pre-monitoring requirements are met and ensure recommendations from monitoring reports are implemented in a timely manner.
Work with the Director of PQI to ensure TFC - VA's readiness for COA re-accreditation.

Qualifications Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree (four-year college or technical school) required, in one of the following field(s) of study: social work, social services, or related field
At least one (1) year of experience working with child welfare services, standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance.
Skills and Other Requirements
Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries
Valid driver's license.
Clean driving record.
A personal vehicle or access to a vehicle required.
Successfully pass drug screen.
Physical and TB test required.
Vaccines per ORR regulations
Preferred Skills
Strong knowledge of the US Resettlement and Unaccompanied Children's programs
Bilingual, English and Spanish, written and spoken
Ability to assess training needs and deliver tailored responses.
Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of quality assurance and quality improvement processes.
