You ll take on a critical role of a PMO in supporting the program manager deliver a high complex post-merger integration project on time, within budget and taking into consideration the variety of governance procedures in place. You'll be working in an energetic team, driving a culture of continuous improvement, and helping shape the future of the business right at the forefront. Ultimately, you ll have the ability to hone in on your project management skills as you work with talented people with access to the bank's Project Management and Agile community.
Project Planning and Coordination:
Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with program objectives.
Track project progress and update project schedules as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project charters, risk logs, and status reports.
Develop and distribute regular program updates and reports to stakeholders.
Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Governance and Compliance:
Support the implementation and enforcement of project governance standards.
Monitor project compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and methodologies.
Assist in conducting project audits and reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
Risk and Issue Management:
Identify and log project risks and issues.
Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Monitor the status of risks and issues and ensure timely resolution.
Resource Management:
Assist in resource planning and allocation to ensure optimal utilization.
Track resource availability and project resource needs.
Coordinate with other project managers to resolve resource conflicts.
Financial Management:
Support budget planning and monitoring for projects and programs.
Track project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts as required.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Facilitate effective communication between the Senior Program Manager, project teams, and stakeholders.
