I am working with a fantastic client to boost their Chantilly, VA & Richmond, VA office. They have been a key player in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast regions since the 1980s.

Currently, they are seeking a CMT Department Manager.

What you will do :

• Operational management of a branch office
• Able to step in and assist field personnel with construction testing and inspections
• Development and implementation of construction quality control programs
• Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation
• Recruitment and development of professional, technical, and administrative personnel
• Client maintenance
• Assisting with invoicing and collections
• Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies
• Subconsultant management

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or in Construction Management
• Experience with geotechnical and construction materials testing services preferred
• Highly organized, self-motivated individual with proven leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices preferred
