Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated mid-level engineer with 5-10 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The exemplary candidate will oversee the planning and progression of projects involving water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project procurement, designer and contractor oversight, schedule, budget, and records for capital improvements.
  • Independently plan and execute engineering tasks, applying judgment in technique selection and adaptation.
  • Collaborate with utilities field administrator for operational support, including tank inspection and rehabilitation, developer infrastructure inspections, and as-built verification.
  • Review design consultant work to ensure compliance with internal policies, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support to customers and contractors.
  • Coordinate with Sterling Ranch Development Company and designers on development reviews and progress.
  • Manage InfoWater and GoldSim models for collection and distribution systems, and water supply planning and forecasting, offering recommendations to aid planning and operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PE license preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of InfoWater or other modeling software preferred.
  • Proficiency in interpreting contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater system design principles and operations.
  • Capability to perform on-site project assessments and attend meetings in the Denver area.
