LVR is Hiring a Refractory Installer / Welder / Mason Near Auburn, MA
Job DescriptionRefractory Installer & Equipment OperatorLVR, a leading provider of refractories and industrial installation services, is seeking Refractory Installers and Demolition Equipment Operators (willing to train).The Refractory Installers workday typically includes tear-out and replacement of high-temperature concrete furnace linings in industrial manufacturing facilities. Demolition is completed by state-of-the-art, mechanized tear out equipment comparable to BROKK or excavators. The refractory skills required include, masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating. The installer must apply appropriate craftsman techniques in accordance with the specifications and generally accepted best practices.

Requirements:
- General construction experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in confined spaces and on scaffolding at heights
- Willingness to work varied shifts (nights, weekends, 10-12 hr. days as needed), overnight travel as needed
- Overtime is paid for over 8 hours/day, at 1.5X for Saturday, and 2X for Sunday.
- Travel expenses paid for out-of-town work.
- Willing to train.
