Our client in East Hartford, CT has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant. You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Our client is open to candidates available on either a temporary or permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Vital signs, BP, pulse, temperature, etc.
• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Scheduling of all medical procedures
• Write out prescriptions for physical therapy, tests, etc.
• Prepare patient charts
• Prepare rooms for patient examinations
• Sterilize & clean instruments
• Take inventory of medical materials and supplies

​ Qualifications:

• Must have at least 2 year clinical experience
• Phlebotomy exp a plus
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
