Lynberg & Watkins, APC, a law firm with offices throughout Southern California is seeking a 5 to 8 year litigation associate for the San Diego office to assist with all aspects of case handling on insurance defense matters with an emphasis on habitability, toxic tort, insurance fraud, and general liability matters. Prior experience in summarizing medical records and third-party records, drafting briefs, motions for summary judgment, responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, court appearances, settlement conferences and mediation, and law and motion work is required. Some travel required. Prior trial preparation experience is beneficial but not required.
The right candidate will be a self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong writing and analytical skills, and be able to work efficiently and independently. Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and writing sample. The firm offers competitive benefits, a quarterly bonus program, and retirement packages.
