Our client, a plastic fabrication company in Monmouth Junction, NJ is looking for a Machine Operator to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, adjustments, quality control, and operation of production equipment.

Your duties will include operating extrusion and production machines, inspecting feedstock, operating a forklift, monitoring systems, packing products, and ensuring the production area remains clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities :

• Check material availability, unload from trailers as needed, ensure materials are recorded in SAP, align materials for consumption, prepare and store purge material, and identify issues with processed material.
• Organize the grinding area, ensure grinders have sufficient materials, and manage the arrangement and storage of gaylords and super sacks.
• Perform daily maintenance on production lines, change screens, clean water reservoirs, submit maintenance requests, prepare sheets, and maintain forklift condition.
• Ensure materials are consumed in SAP and manage goods receipt processes through SAP transactions.
• Comply with metal detector policy, monitor and apply quality control processes, and follow all safety procedures.

Skills :

• Able to operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently, adhering to certification protocols.
• Experience with operating press brake machines.
• Ability to use calipers and other precision measuring instruments.
• Able to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay and Shift :

Schedule : A / B schedule (7 AM or 7 PM shifts)

Pay Rate : $19.00 - $20.00 / hour
