M.A.J. Law Firm is an immigration law firm. The firm is seeking a motivated and passionate bilingual legal assistant to join our team. Training will be provided to the successful candidate. This position is not remote.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including research, document drafting, and case file organization.

- Translate legal documents and client communications accurately between English and Spanish.

- Schedule and coordinate client meetings, court appearances, and other legal appointments.

- Maintain client files and ensure all documents are filed correctly and promptly.

- Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and third parties to facilitate clear communication and efficient case management.

- Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence.

- Conduct initial client intake interviews to gather relevant information and documents.

- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other government agencies.

- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and legal matters.

- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.

- Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys and office management.

Pay: $31,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
