M&C Tech Indiana in Washington, IN is looking for one public relations specialist to join our 55 person strong team. We are located on 1928 Technology Dr.. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working.

This position is responsible for closely crafting and communicating public image. The position is tasked with identifying community leaders, government officials, organizations and individuals that we should actively seek to communicate our message to and build relationships with. The position is also charged with responding to any media requests that are directed towards M&C Tech. As to any organizations previously identified as important for M&C Tech's public image and growth in the community, the position is responsible for ensuing we regularly communicate our message to them in the form of press releases and other communications. The position is responsible for attending local community events on behalf of M&C Tech. In coordination with leadership and the local community the position provides input into how to effectively provide support to applicable charity events and foundations. When required, the position coaches and advises M&C Tech leadership when the y are contracted for interviews, community meetings, and other press inquiries. The position also actively participates in such events as needed. In the event of an emergencies, accidents or other issues of great public concern, the position is required to help formulate M&C Tech's response.

Requirements:

• Batchelor's or above in Journalism, Public Relations, Communication or closely related field.
