The ideal candidate will develop and design menus featuring diverse kosher dishes, create innovative recipes, and collaborate on special events and catering packages. Key responsibilities include maintaining high culinary standards, ensuring compliance with kosher dietary laws, managing inventory and food costs, and training kitchen staff. The Kosher Chef must possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of kosher cuisine, and a passion for culinary excellence, along with a proven track record in a kosher culinary establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to effect change and lead in high-volume, fast-paced environments, with in-depth knowledge of kosher dietary laws, customs, and traditions, enabling them to create innovative kosher menus and recipes. Strong leadership and management skills are essential, with the ability to inspire and motivate kitchen staff to achieve culinary excellence. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced catering environment are a must. The candidate should exhibit creativity, passion, and dedication to delivering exceptional kosher dining experiences for guests, along with familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the demands of the catering business is also necessary.
