M Force Specialized Recruiting Partners is Hiring an Engine Regulatory Compliance Senior Manager Near Milwaukee, WI

Position: Senior Manager, Engine Regulatory Compliance

Role Overview: As the Senior Manager of Engine Regulatory Compliance, you will oversee and guide the Engine Regulatory Compliance Teams to ensure all business operations, products, and services comply with global regulations and industry standards. You will provide strategic advice on emerging emissions and environmental standards, impacting our product offerings and their market acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Lead long-term planning to align regulatory compliance with company goals and industry standards, including systems, training, and support.
  2. Risk Management: Develop strategies to assess and mitigate non-compliance risks; offer global regulatory guidance across the company.
  3. Regulatory Advocacy: Collaborate with leadership to evaluate proposed regulations and advocate for industry-standard changes directly and through trade organizations.
  4. Certification Management: Ensure all product certifications and emissions permits are obtained and maintained.
  5. Compliance Campaigns: Oversee field campaigns and recall efforts per governmental and internal policies.
  6. Budget Preparation: Develop and manage the budget for engine emissions compliance.
  7. Regulatory Communication: Provide timely updates on regulatory developments to business leaders through presentations and strategic meetings.
  8. Representation and Support: Represent the company with governmental agencies, trade, and industry organizations, and support customer inquiries on compliance matters.
  9. Leadership: Direct and manage employee groups, leading through managers.
  10. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of global emissions, environmental, and related product compliance standards and regulations.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with site inspections, answering interrogatories, document production, and testifying in depositions or court.
  • Proficient in delivering technical presentations and using spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
  • Ability to drive change, motivate staff, and build effective networks within the company and with external organizations.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining capital and operational budgets.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a related field, with prior leadership experience.
  • Preferred Certifications: Professional Engineer Certification (PE).

Travel Requirements:

  • Domestic and international travel up to 35% as required.
