About this Unit:

Do you have a special curiosity about orthopedics? Then the 3rd Floor Orthopedic Surgical Specialty Unit is right for you! This 26 bed adult Medical/Surgical unit focuses on patients with an orthopedic diagnosis and was completed in the Fall of 2021. This position is 60 hours per pay period, Night shift (7pm-7:30am) with every third weekend. This position is eligible for benefits. Responsibilities/Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• MN RN License
• BLS for Health Care Provider
• Charge RN experience required or willing to train within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN
• Recent within one year med/surg RN experience.
• RN Charge exprience
