Education And Experience
- High School Degree or GED
- 5 years of related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in CNC Lathe Operation (specifically Mazak lathe)
- CNC Programming
- Lathe Set-Up
- Ability to interpret engineering prints
- Proficient in setting up and programming CNC machine tools
- Strong mathematical skills for computations and measurements
- Familiarity with using measuring tools for quality inspections
- Capability to operate an overhead crane for product movement
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying job instructions
- Exercise Process Control for assigned machine under Machine Shop Supervisor's guidance
- Conduct in-process inspections, inventory control, and equipment handling
- Manage material reception, set-up, programming, and production of the machine
- Achieve target efficiencies set by Supervisor and Manufacturing Manager
- Assist in training other team members as needed
- Foster a collaborative team environment within the department
- Adhere to all policies and procedures of the Machine Shop
