M1 is looking for an NDI Mechanic with the following knowledge and experience:
Duties/Responsibilities

• Detects flaws such as cracks, dellaminations, voids, processing defects and heat damage using penetrant, eddy current,

magnetic particle, ultrasonic and radiographic test on aerospace weapon systems and components.

• Operate, maintain, and inspect the nondestructive equipment and perform operator maintenance and process controls on shop

equipment and tools.

• Proficient in metals identification, detecting metals discontinuities and flaws, radiological safety and radiation monitoring

procedures and interpreting technical orders and directives.

• The ability to possess a valid NAS 410 Level II certification or equivalent as directed by the Government in all 5 disciplines

and meet the vision standard specified in the NAS 410.

• Occasionally required to perform duties of Aircraft Mechanic or less skill Classification
• A minimum of 3 years experience in NDI/NDT

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Perform duties as outlined in purpose of position
• Maintain a clean and organized work place
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a

professional and non-confrontational attitude.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any Security Clearance or base access as required by the contract
• Hold a valid Drivers' License
• JOAP qualification preferred
