Travel Limited M1 is looking for a Supply TechnicianPrimary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Research and orders consumable parts for aircraft (to include MICAP) and equipment usingWEBFLIS, IMDS, and ILS-S data bases. Verifies that the correct parts have been received andsigned for in ILS-S. Track and Turn in DIFM parts in a timely manner. Maintains and validatesSupply listings to include reconciling Document Validation Report. Stock and sorts of parts usingFIFO procedure. Inventory and maintain Bench Stock levels, shop stock and operating stock. Clearrejects documents in ILS-S. Manage Precious Metals to include establishing a precious metalsrecovery strategy, HAZMAT and Reusable Container Program. May be responsible as primary oralternate custodian for the following programs: HAZMAT, Land Mobile Radio (LMR),Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK), Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), TechnicalOrder Distribution Assistant (TODA), spare tools, bench/operating stock, vehicle and/orequipment accounts as directed by management. Receives technical guidance from managers,supervisors, leads or higher-level technicians as required. May be required to obtain and maintainspecial certifications as directed by management. Reviews and completes forms documentationpertinent to aircraft or equipment maintenance, enters maintenance actions into applicable MISsystem and will make entries in forms, logs, records, or electronic equivalent as required. Completeall assignments and tasks as directed by managers, supervisors, leads, and more senior technicians.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years performing as a USAF or sister service supply technician is required.Working knowledge in USAF, Federal, State, and local laws/instructions, scrap metal, preciousmetals, and reusable containers programs. Working knowledge of ILSS and MIS systems, formsdocumentation and strict adherence to technical data is required.Working Conditions:High school diploma or GED is required. Mathematics skills are desirableMust speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data andspecial operating instructions in the same language.Must be willing to deploy to support off-station requirements.Performs housekeeping duties within 100 feet of assigned work areas (excluding bathrooms).Performs vehicle use inspections, cleaning, and wash.Performs any other supportive duties as assigned.Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (or higher, if required).Must be able to, if required, obtain, and maintain a government driver's license. If controlledmovement area (CMA) access is required must be able to pass color vision test.Environment ranges from office, hangar and flightline and requires extensive climbing, standing,stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.May be required to work in other work sections throughout the contract.
