M2 is Hiring a Custody Officer Near Abu Dhabi, AZ
M2 is a leading crypto investment firm dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions in the digital asset space. We provide a diverse product offering including OTC, lending, futures in addition to managing proprietary investments.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and initiate forecasting, wallet movements, top-ups, withdrawals.
- Ensuring that client deposits and withdrawals are settled, exceptions are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitoring and adjusting ratios between hot and cold wallets, exposures and credit lines with liquidity providers and market makers
- Resolving breaks from reconciliations & escalating issues in a timely manner
- Up-to-date knowledge of systems, processes, legal structures, and exception process requirements.
- Monitoring and handling asset recovery cases
- Monitoring and handling forks/network upgrades & liaising with stakeholders on related actions
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of best practices and regulations impacting the activity
- Maintain relevant relationships within Operations: key stakeholders Exchange Operations, Operations Control and Customer Experience.
- Maintain relevant relationships across departments: collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Tech, Marketing, and the leadership.
- Maintain relevant external relationships: Third party providers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial institutions (investment or custodian bank, brokerage firms, clearing houses, asset management firms, hedge funds etc), in middle office functions, trade settlements, cash and collateral management across various liquid asset classes: FX and MM, Listed and OTC Derivatives, Equities and Fixed Income.
- Experience working with crypto exchanges, custodians, products or blockchain settlement protocols is preferred.
- Knowledge in blockchain related settlement processes
- Ability to handle and operate multiple tasks and work with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail but able to identify trends.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to work on rotational shifts basis (including weekends).
