Position Overview:

As the Event Manager at Maü Miami, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a variety of events that reflect our brand’s standards of excellence and luxury. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure each event is a memorable and seamless experience. Your role will involve overseeing every detail of event planning, from conception to execution, while maintaining budgets and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events at Maü Miami, ensuring they align with the brand's standards and client expectations.
• Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations and solutions.
• Develop detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, staffing, and budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including kitchen, front-of-house, and marketing, to ensure seamless event execution.
• Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, and troubleshooting during the event to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and events are executed within budget.
• Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best services and prices.
• Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the event planning process.
• Promote and upsell Maü Miami’s event services, packages, and special promotions to drive sales.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Event Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality or event planning industry.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected issues with professionalism.
• Proficiency in using event management software and other relevant tools.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Additional certifications in event planning or project management are a plus.

Requirements:
