Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Maaco. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shop operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and driving the financial performance of the business. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong managerial skills, a passion for the automotive industry, and a proven track record of success in a similar environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

• • Oversee daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage staff schedules, workflow, and shop floor activities.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Financial Performance:
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
  • Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maximize profitability through cost control and revenue enhancement.
• Customer Service:
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

• Team Leadership:
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that motivates employees.
• Quality Control:
  • Ensure all repairs and paint jobs meet Maaco’s high standards of quality.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to deliver consistent results.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain standards.
• Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to attract new customers.
  • Drive sales through effective promotions, customer outreach, and community engagement.
  • Monitor market trends and competitors to stay ahead in the industry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within the Collision and Automotive Paint industry (preferred).
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent financial management, body/paint shop management, and analytical abilities.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using management software and tools. CCC1 experience is a plus!
• Knowledge of automotive repair and paint processes is highly desirable.
