Position: Project Advisor (Cost Estimator Experience)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- PMP certification is required at start date or must be obtained within 12 months of hiring and kept up to date.
- Minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience listed above required.
- Analyzing and evaluating the management, coordination, and monitoring of projects in order to facilitate the acquisition process.
- Planning, evaluating, and maintaining technical surveillance over operations required to support the program goals and objectives of assigned actions.
- Communicating, both verbally and in writing, to provide guidance and instruction related to facilitating the acquisition process (i.e., justifying, negotiating, and resolving controversial issues and problems).
- Examples of software they may have are: Primavera (P6) or MS Project in a construction or design capacity or Schedule Logic. It's ok if they don't have one of these though - these are examples
- Break down schedules and an understanding of dependents in construction - eg, can't paint the walls until the sheet rock goes up
- Need 3 yrs of construction or designing buildings (new construction, demolitions, renovations) experience, don't need 3 yrs of scheduling experience
- Must have at least 3 years of Constuction or building design/Demolition experience required
