We are currently seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to provide speech language services to our students, administer assessments, develop IEP and treatment plan goals, track data and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of professionals. This position is full time, 40 hours a week, for the duration of the clinical fellowship experience. ASHA regulations state Clinical Fellowship experiences are at least 36 weeks and 1,260 hours. 

Responsibilities Include:

· Perform screening and evaluations to assess student strengths and needs

· Provide individual and group treatment to promote skill development across educational, residential, and community settings in accordance with IEP requirements.

· Collaborate with the transition team, educational team and residential team to systematize transition programming to be consistent with best practice

· Collaborate with student’s families to support the generalization of treatment into the home setting

· Complete IEP progress notes and reports

· Complete EEC progress notes and reports as needed for residential students 

· Participate in the SPOT (SLP, PT, OT) meetings at Ivy Street School

· Attend and participate in Treatment Team and IEP meetings

· Participate in the management of crisis as trained

· Attend meetings and trainings as required

· Engage in indirect and direct supervision with clinical fellowship mentor

· Engage in regular supervision with Director of Related Services 

Requirements:

· Master's Degree

· Met ASHA SLP Certification standards to begin Clinical Fellowship

· Experience working with transition aged youth preferred

· Experience in school and/or residential setting preferred

· CPR and First Aid certification or ability to become certified upon hire

This position is a year-round position, 40 hours a week Monday through Friday. Most working hours would fall within the regular school day between 8:30am and 3:00pm. Ivy Street School offers a supportive team environment, generous earned time benefits and free parking.
