LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN ALLIANCE OH IS LOOKING FOR A 2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN.

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, 480V, PLC TROUBLESHOOTING, STABLE, ETC.

SHIFT : 2ND SHIFT MON-FRI 3PM-11PM

HOURLY RATE : $25-$28 HOURLY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Safety / Food Safety Must operate in a safe manner which includes truck inspections prior to operating. During operation, wearing seat belts, going slow, honking, lifting loads that are not stacked too high, honking when approaching corners, doors, blind spots, going backwards when the load has an obstructed view.

Reporting any accidents. Never blocking emergency exits, electrical panels, aisles, and walkwaysFollowing all the GMPs in the Food Safety program.

Complies with all company & OSHA policies & regulations. Understands and utilizes proper safety procedure and practice at all times.

• Communication Maintenance Shift Supervisor and Team Leads Notify of breaks or times off the floor with an expected time goneMaintains effective and cooperative working relations.
• Duties The following categories are required training for all maintenance employees. Hazardous Energy Control Lock-out / Tag-out Fork truck certification Fire extinguisher certification.

Fabricates parts or equipment using torches, welder or machine tools.Inspects, operates and tests equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.

Assembles, installs or repairs electrical, mechanical and plumbing components.Make adjustments to equipment and controls to improve quality and performance.

Dismantles, cleans, inspects and lubricates equipment and components.Performs routine preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment as scheduled by the maintenance supervisor.

Performs emergency breakdown equipment maintenance as prioritized by management.Performs die changes on presses as scheduled by production.

Cleans and inspects die components.Performs bench work on dies as necessary to improve product quality and die performance.

Performs building maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc. Fills out reports including logs, PM's, and work orders.

Notifies supervision immediately of any safety or quality issues.

Quality and Cleanliness Assists and communicates with production as needed to ensure quality and productivity.Making sure aisleways are not cluttered / blocked by equipment.

Keeping the floor swept and clean in maintenance department and around machines.No tools or parts on production tables or machine.
