Mack Molding is Hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist Near Arlington, VT
Processes accounts payable invoices while looking for possible debits to vendors using accounts receivable aging reports; Identifies investigates, and resolves problem transactions by interfacing with other departments including, Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Shipping and Receiving; Ensures that vendors are paid accurately and on time and takes discounts according to department guidelines; Prepares journal entries for financial statements; Recommends changes to existing accounts payable procedures; Enters new vendor information; Formulates ideas for reducing costs; Performs internal audits; Complies with all company policies and procedures; Works with co-workers in a safe, professional, and cooperative manner; Maintains good attendance, flexibility in assignments, adaptable to changing business needs, and continually learns and applies new skills; Works in a team environment and assists in other finance functions as required; Meets minimum physical/mental demands with or without reasonable accommodations; Other duties as assigned; Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus six months to one year of related experience and/or training.
